A Note from Melissa

Last year, I was asked to share a few words at a Mass about the Fall Festival—and as I thought about what it really means to me, one word kept coming to mind: fun. It’s truly a joyful, faith-filled day that brings our entire parish family together.

This year, I’m excited to serve as chair and to lead an incredible team dedicated to making the 2025 St. Joseph Fall Festival—San Jose, Aumenta Nuestra Fe (“St. Joseph, Increase our Faith”)—our best yet. We’re pouring our hearts into this event, not just because it’s a wonderful tradition, but because it’s vital to our parish. The Festival helps sustain St. Joseph’s throughout the year, and your support means everything.

At its core, this day is about more than just games, food, and music. It’s about creating a space for Holy Leisure—time spent in community, celebration, and rest. That spirit of togetherness is what makes it truly special. And you’re a big part of that. We hope you’ll get involved—whether that’s as a sponsor, volunteer, or by donating items. Every contribution helps make the day memorable.

Keep an eye out for updates here and in the bulletin. The fun starts with you!

Sincerely,

Melissa Kidonakis
