Last year, I was asked to share a few words at a Mass about the Fall Festivalâand as I thought about what it really means to me, one word kept coming to mind: fun. Itâs truly a joyful, faith-filled day that brings our entire parish family together.
This year, Iâm excited to serve as chair and to lead an incredible team dedicated to making the 2025 St. Joseph Fall FestivalâSan Jose, Aumenta Nuestra Fe (âSt. Joseph, Increase our Faithâ)âour best yet. Weâre pouring our hearts into this event, not just because itâs a wonderful tradition, but because itâs vital to our parish. The Festival helps sustain St. Josephâs throughout the year, and your support means everything.
At its core, this day is about more than just games, food, and music. Itâs about creating a space for Holy Leisureâtime spent in community, celebration, and rest. That spirit of togetherness is what makes it truly special. And youâre a big part of that. We hope youâll get involvedâwhether thatâs as a sponsor, volunteer, or by donating items. Every contribution helps make the day memorable.
Keep an eye out for updates here and in the bulletin. The fun starts with you!
â
Sincerely,
Melissa Kidonakisâ
The St. Josephâs Fall Festival is a celebration designed to bring together parishioners and neighbors alike in a spirit of community, fun, and faith. Itâs more than just a festivalâitâs a holy place of leisure where families, friends, and visitors can enjoy food, music, games, and fellowship on our historic parish grounds. All proceeds from the event go directly to supporting the operating budget of our 100+ year old church, helping us continue to celebrate the Sacraments, serve those in need, and strengthen our mission in the wider community.
Everyoneâs welcome! Whether youâre part of the parish or just passing by, weâd love to have you join the fun. Bring a friendâor five!
Absolutely nothingâit's free! Bring your family, friends, and appetiteâno tickets needed to join in the fun. Just come ready to enjoy a great day with great people!
Come hungry! Weâll have a wide range of tasty eats and refreshing drinksâfrom savory favorites to sweet treats, plus adult beverages for those 21 and up. Thereâs something for every craving!
We kindly ask that you do not bring outside food, drinks, or coolers. With plenty of delicious options available for purchase at the festival, weâve got you covered!
You can definitely use your card to purchase food tickets and auction itemsâsuper easy! That said, having a little cash on hand is always helpful for things like raffle tickets or smaller purchases.
Thereâs something for everyone in the family! Kids can enjoy classic carnival games, fun rides, face painting, and hands-on crafts. Families can stick together for live music, great food, and plenty of open space to relax and connect. Itâs a day full of laughter, play, and communityâperfect for all ages.
Free shoulder parking is available right next to the church, and the church lot will also be open to all guests. For details and best access points, click here to view the parking map.
There are many meaningful ways to support the festival! We welcome event sponsors, auction item donations, and in-kind gifts that help cover operational needs for the day of the event. Weâre also in need of volunteersâwhether you can help in the weeks leading up to the festival, during the event itself, or with cleanup and breakdown afterward, your time and talents are greatly appreciated. To get involved or learn more, please reach out to our team through the contact form or email us directly (festival@stjosephs.org).
